Museum of the Moving Image
Schwartz started as an intern at what was then the American Museum of the Moving Image in 1985, and worked there full-time, mostly as Chief Curator, through 2018. Currently curator-at large for the museum, programming the series Art and Craft, assisting with the programming of First Look, and recently curating series including Jeanne Dielman and Its Roots and Being Human: The Films of Roy Andersson.
Paris Theater
Programmed the legendary Paris Theater in Manhattan for Netflix, from 2020-2023.
