I’m an independent film programmer and writer. I’m Curator-at-large at Museum of the Moving Image, where I worked for many years as Chief Curator. I host the Emelin Theatre Film Club in Mamaroneck, NY, and do programming for other venues including the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington, and the Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee, New Jersey. I programmed and managed the Paris Theater in Manhattan.

I write about film regularly for publications including Reverse Shot, Screen Slate, and Film Comment. I edited the book David Cronenberg: Interviews. I have taught film history at Purchase College and New York University. In 2019, I received a Career Achievement Award from the New York Film Critics for my tenure at Museum of the Moving Image.

But enough about me.
